Track 22 from Charanga / Saydisc / Christine Richards project - 'Listen to this' for Key Stage 1. Scottish Folk Song from Saydisc album 'Traditional Songs of Scotland' (3'04") Main features: structure, singing. This traditional Scottish folk song is sung by a female singer, accompanied by guitar and fiddle. The Track Explorer has two learning tracks focusing on structure and lyrics.

KS1/2 idea - Ask the children to try to translate some of the Scottish dialect in this song. A good chance to discuss any dialects members of the class might know.
