You can enable Student Access on any Core Curriculum or custom Lesson from the eLearning website. Pupils are then able to create an account and log in to the Pupil Learning Space, where they can view any Lessons that their teachers have added for them. You can also see which pupils have accessed your Lesson, and how many times they have done so.
Pupils can enter their Student Access area by visiting your Music eLearning Website and clicking "Pupils Login". If they are accessing it for the first time they will need to create an account – this is a quick and secure process, and enables pupils to access Lessons set by their teachers from one place.
To enable Student Access for your lessons, follow the steps below.
To enable Student Access on Core Curriculum Lessons, click the Lesson title when browsing. Click "Enable Access" in the Student Access area on the right hand side of the screen. A web address and six-digit code will then appear in this area.
Your students can access the Lesson directly by entering this web address into their web browsers, or entering the six-digit Lesson Code in their Student Access home page.
Once you have shared the Lesson, scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see a section for "Lesson Support Materials". You can browse for any files stored on your computer, then attach them to the Lesson by clicking "Attach". Students will be able to access any materials you attach to the Lesson.
This feature is useful for attaching printable documents, reference sheets, or any other documents relevant to the Lesson.
You can view usage information for your Lesson, including who has accessed it and when, by clicking the "Student Usage" link in the Student Access area on the right hand side of the Lesson screen. This shows you usage data in table format.
You can return to this page at any time by going back to the Lesson you wish to view and clicking the "Student Usage" link.
